Everyone has the right to a safe home, in St. Louis and beyond
Yet many people have no place to call their own. They move from temporary residence to temporary residence, find themselves trapped with abusive partners, or worse of all—end up on the streets. Whether it’s a person struggling with addiction or a war veteran with PTSD, people can’t heal and recover until they have stability in their lives. And stability doesn’t exist without a long-term place to live.
Our goal? To start turning things around in St. Louis and beyond. Idyllic housing is a nonprofit start-up that aims to provide safe housing for those in need—especially women in tough situations. We’ll do this by creating clean, comfortable, and long-term shared housing. And we need donors to help us.
What will your donation help to build?
Idyllic Housing is a St. Louis non-profit seeking donors to create shared housing for people without a permanent place to live. Every home will be clean, welcoming, and have all the necessities for a thriving life. Most homes will house from four to eight people.
This means that:
- Single mothers can have a safe and healthy environment to raise their kids
- Foster children can finally have a place where they belong
- Homeless veterans can reclaim their dignity
- Domestically abused woman can escape their partners
- People in addiction recovery can focus on getting well
