A non-profit initiative to help people with housing insecurity in St. Louis
Idyllic housing is the vision of Rameez and Nozaina. As healthcare professionals, they often took care of patients who have no safe place to go after being discharged. These included people with mental health illness, single mothers, and people struggling with addiction.
At a time when these individuals needed a place to heal, they were left distressed and scrambling for a safe place to live. As a result, they continued to struggle in society.
Rameez and Nozaina realized that if they could only provide these men and women with a safe and nurturing environment, they wouldn’t only be offering them shelter—they would be helping their health and recovery too. This would allow these people to start turning their lives around. They decided to create a non–profit initiative to provide housing for individuals in need throughout St. Louis.
